[New ideas lead to a new journey] Technological innovation leads to the development of new quality productivity and shows new results
News: General Secretary Xi Jinping pointed out that developing new quality productivity is an inherent requirement and an important focus for promoting high-quality development. We must continue to do a good job in innovation and promote the accelerated development of new quality productivity. Following the direction guided by the General Secretary, various regions have taken precise measures based on local conditions, resource endowments, industrial foundations, scientific research conditions, etc., and continuously cultivated new development momentum and new advantages, and the development of new quality productivity has continuously shown new results.
Since the beginning of this year, my country has accelerated the cultivation and expansion of new quality productivity. In the west, green industries represented by new energy are stepping up their layout and construction; in the central region, industrial transformation and upgrading are steadily advancing, and the construction of a modern industrial system is accelerating; in the east, key laboratories are working hard to tackle key problems, and the original innovation and integrated innovation capabilities have been significantly improved.
Last September, General Secretary Xi Jinping first proposed to accelerate the formation of new productivity during his inspection in Heilongjiang, and made in-depth discussions on this issue in many important occasions since then. He pointed out that new productivity is the advanced productivity that plays a leading role in innovation, breaks away from the traditional economic growth mode and productivity development path, has the characteristics of high technology, high efficiency and high quality, and conforms to the new development concept.
To implement the requirements of the General Secretary, all localities will take scientific and technological innovation as the guide to coordinate the upgrading of traditional industries, the development of emerging industries, and the cultivation of future industries.
Developing new quality productivity does not mean ignoring or abandoning traditional industries. In Heilongjiang, the local area has relied on new technologies to transform and upgrade traditional industries, and has cultivated 14 provincial-level smart factories and 265 digital workshops. Walking into the production workshop of China First Heavy Industries, the machine tools are processing core components of nuclear power equipment. After digital and intelligent transformation, traditional machine tools now have new functions such as data collection networking and energy consumption monitoring, which greatly improves production efficiency and R&D capabilities.
Strategic emerging industries and future industries are the main battlefields for the formation of new quality productivity. In Hunan, researchers at the Changsha Beidou Industrial Safety Technology Research Institute are working on space-time security enhancement technology. Soon, equipment equipped with these Beidou technologies will be used in the low-altitude economic field, increasing the positioning accuracy of drones and helicopters in urban environments from 10 meters to within 1 meter. This year, Hunan will rely on 144 national-level scientific and technological innovation platforms to strive to break through more than 100 key core technologies and promote more scientific and technological achievements from laboratories to production lines.
Lay out and build future industries. This year, Guangdong released five action plans for future industry clusters, aiming at cutting-edge industries such as future electronic information, future intelligent equipment, future life and health, future materials, and future green and low-carbon industries, and building a future industry development matrix. In Shenzhen, humanoid robots have entered new energy vehicle factories for on-site training, and further breakthroughs in core technologies such as body control and multimodal perception in integrated application scenarios. By 2025, the scale of Guangdong's core artificial intelligence industry is expected to exceed 300 billion yuan.
