News: On June 15, the State Power Investment Corporation Baiyinhuakengkou Power Plant, the 660,000-kilowatt ultra-supercritical power generating unit with the largest flue gas water lifting capacity in my country, was completed and put into operation.
The State Power Investment Corporation's Inner Mongolia Baiyinhuakengkou Power Plant, which was officially put into operation today, can produce 6.6 billion kWh of electricity per year, which can meet the annual electricity needs of 2.3 million households. Its power generation capacity is at the world's leading level for similar units. While producing electricity, the Baiyinhuakengkou Power Plant uses flue gas water extraction technology to extract 1.63 million tons of hot water from the flue gas generated by power generation every year. This water meets industrial water standards and can be supplied to nearby enterprises and units.

According to Li Zehua, person in charge of the State Power Investment Corporation's Inner Mongolia Baiyinhuakengkou Power Plant, the power plant uses a mixed flue gas water extraction device to extract water from coal. The device can not only be used for production water replenishment throughout the plant, but can also be provided to neighboring units for production water supply. The annual water-saving benefits can reach 10 to 12 million yuan.
Thermal power generation is the mainstream way of power generation at present, and more than 60% of the electricity used in my country each year comes from thermal power generation. However, as the country's requirements for energy conservation and emission reduction of thermal power generation increase, this kind of sustainable and intelligent green power plant will be widely used to replace traditional thermal power plants.
