Xi Jinping pointed out that he welcomes His Majesty the King to pay a state visit to China and attend the opening ceremony of the 10th Ministerial Conference of the China-Arab States Cooperation Forum. It is a pleasure to meet you in Beijing. First of all, I would like to congratulate Bahrain on successfully hosting the 33rd Arab League Summit Council meeting, and congratulate His Majesty the King on taking over the rotating chairmanship of the Arab League Summit Council meeting. I believe that Bahrain will strengthen Arab countries’ independence and enhance their independence. Unite and cooperate to promote development and revitalization and make greater contributions. You are an old friend of the Chinese people and have always attached great importance to developing relations with China, which I highly appreciate. This is your second visit to China in 11 years, which is of great significance to promoting the development of China-Pakistan relations.
Bahrain is China's good friend and good partner in the Gulf region. In recent years, under our joint leadership, China-Pakistan relations have maintained steady and healthy development, bringing tangible benefits to the people of both countries. This year marks the 35th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Pakistan. Both sides agreed to take this opportunity to upgrade China-Pakistan relations to a comprehensive strategic partnership, which is a new milestone in the history of China-Pakistan relations. China is willing to work with Pakistan to build a comprehensive strategic partnership between China and Pakistan to better benefit the two peoples.
