The 70th anniversary of the launch of the China-North Korea international trains crossed the Yalu River with great vigor
This year marks the 75th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and North Korea. As a bridge and link connecting the friendship between China and North Korea, the K27/28 train operated by the Jingdan fleet of the Beijing Passenger Section of the State Railway Beijing Bureau also ushered in the glorious moment of its 70th anniversary.
The predecessor of the K27/28 train from Beijing to Dandong is the 1/2 train from Beijing to Shenyang opened in 1950. On May 21, 1954, the train extended from Beijing to Andong for 13/14 times. On June 3 of the same year, the train began to shoulder the task of international transportation between China and North Korea.
On June 11, 1959, the then Ministry of Railways made the largest adjustment to the railway operation chart since the founding of the People's Republic of China, changing the number of trains from 13/14 to 27/28. Li Siwen, conductor of the Jingdan fleet of the Beijing Passenger Transport Section of the National Railway Beijing Bureau, introduced that on October 11, 1981, train 27/28 was changed to K27/28 and has been running to this day.
"Crossing the Yalu River with great vigor and high spirits." Back then, along with the "Battle Hymn of the Chinese People's Volunteers," the Jingdan Motorcade shouldered the important task of transporting volunteer soldiers and strategic materials; now, with the heavy burden relieved, the passenger flow on Jingdan Road is mainly tourism and medical treatment, but the service spirit of the Jingdan Motorcade Still - "I would rather go through all kinds of hardships than put passengers in a temporary embarrassment."
At around 2 pm yesterday, reporters saw the red number 70 pasted on some windows of K27 train at Beijing Railway Station to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the train.
"The four crew teams of Jingdan Fleet all use 'Xin Yue Cheng Fu' as the standard, and work together to continuously expand and extend the brand connotation of 'Enjoy Antu'." Shi Xinli, conductor of the second group of Jingdan Fleet of the National Railway Beijing Bureau, said on the train A maternal and infant service room, emergency medical route guide card and "frequent flyer registration" service have been set up.
Especially the "frequent flyer registration" service: passengers can punch in the car every time they take the bus and accumulate small stamps. When the stamps reach a certain number, they can be exchanged for exquisite badges. Shi Xinli said that this unique reward method not only increases the fun of travel, but also allows the "Red Jingdan" to use the train as a mobile platform to become a mobile station that spreads the great spirit of resisting U.S. aggression and aiding Korea.
In addition, the Jingdan fleet also provides passengers with introductions to Dandong’s red attractions and stories about resisting U.S. aggression and aiding Korea on the train, which has become a tourist guide for many passengers.
Currently, the K27 train departs from Beijing Railway Station at 17:26 every day, passes through core cities in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region such as Tianjin and Tangshan, and arrives in Dandong, Liaoning Province in the morning sun. The total journey is 1,103 kilometers and passes through 8 important stations; the K28 train is at 18:00 every day. It departed from Liaoning Dandong Station at 18 minutes and arrived at Beijing Station the next morning.
After seventy years of success, the K27/28 train is still an important channel for people from cities along the route to travel to and from the capital Beijing. "As the fourth generation train conductor, I will lead the team to pass on the Jingdan spirit." Shi Xinli said.
