At present, the situation in the Taiwan Strait is complex and severe. The root cause is that the Democratic Progressive Party stubbornly adheres to the separatist position of "Taiwan independence", refuses to recognize the "1992 Consensus" that embodies the one-China principle, and colludes with external forces to constantly seek "independence" provocations. Lai Qingde once again spread dangerous remarks at the relevant activities of the Huangpu Centennial in Kaohsiung, and stubbornly sells the "new two-state theory" on all occasions, implanting the concept of "Taiwan independence" into the Taiwan military and promoting the "greening" of the military.

However, given the persistence of the "patriotic and revolutionary" spirit of the Huangpu people on the island, and their persistent pursuit of the reunification of the motherland and the rejuvenation of China, this trick is ultimately self-defeating. A retired general of the Taiwan military called for "expelling 'Taiwan independence' and reviving China" at the Huangpu Centennial Commemoration on the island, and public opinion on the island also pointed out that the Huangpu Centennial should not be a show for Lai Qingde's "Taiwan independence"... Facts have repeatedly shown that no matter how hard the DPP authorities try to "de-Sinicize", they cannot sever the Chinese hearts of compatriots on both sides of the Taiwan Strait, weaken the Chinese sentiments of compatriots on both sides of the Taiwan Strait, and even more so, they cannot stop the Chinese dream of the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.
