In Chaoyang District, Beijing, if citizens seek legal aid, lawyer services, notary services, etc., they can go to the Public Legal Service Center to solve their basic legal service needs through one door. At present, Chaoyang District has built 43 public legal service stations, and community public legal service rooms have achieved full coverage, providing high-quality legal services to citizens.
Since the "14th Five-Year Plan", Chaoyang District has built a public legal service center integrating seven functions, including legal aid, lawyer services, notary services, judicial appraisal services, mediation services, rule of law publicity, and resettlement assistance and education, and has opened services for the elderly, military personnel, and military dependents. and other green channels to provide the public with precise judicial services. Currently, the center receives an average of more than 600 visitors per day.
According to relevant sources, the total area of 43 public legal service stations in the district reaches 2,200 square meters, which can meet the convenience and efficiency needs of citizens to the greatest extent. 668 village legal consultants have stationed in community public legal service rooms to answer questions “face-to-face” and have served more than 90,000 citizens. At present, the Chaoyang District Public Legal Service Center provides various types of legal services to more than 60,000 people, and the legal service stations and legal service rooms provide various legal services to more than 290,000 people.
In addition, the Chaoyang District Justice Bureau undertakes the answering tasks of Beijing’s two public legal service hotline platforms “12348”. At present, there are a total of 97,686 cases of hotline and online consultation.
