1. Another 350-kilometer-per-hour high-speed railway in northern Jiangsu has been approved, which is part of the auxiliary channel of the Beijing-Shanghai high-speed railway.
Recently, the National Development and Reform Commission officially approved the feasibility study report of the new Weifang-Suqian high-speed railway, and the railway department is making every effort to promote the preliminary work of the project and strive to start construction as soon as possible.
The Weisu high-speed railway is a component of the Beijing Shanghai high-speed railway auxiliary channel in the medium and long-term railway network planning, and is a construction project of the national "14th Five Year Plan" for railway development. The project is located in the central southern part of Shandong Province and the northern part of Jiangsu Province, running in a north-south direction. It starts from the Weifang North Station of the Jiqing High Speed Railway, passes through Weifang City, Rizhao City, and Linyi City, introduces the Linyi North Station of the Rilan High Speed Railway, passes south through Linyi City, Xuzhou City, and Suqian City, and finally reaches the reserved Yangbei Station of the Xuyan High Speed Railway. There are a total of 12 stations along the entire line, including Yangbei, Suqian East, and Xinyi East. The new main line has a total length of 399.3 kilometers and a designed speed of 350 kilometers per hour. The construction of the Weisu high-speed railway can accelerate the formation of the Beijing Shanghai high-speed railway auxiliary channel and the Hefei Qingdao high-speed railway channel, alleviate the tight transportation capacity of the Beijing Shanghai high-speed railway, and promote the integrated development of the Beijing Tianjin Hebei region, Shandong Peninsula urban agglomeration, and the Yangtze River Delta region.
2. The Chuzhou section of the Chuning city railway was only opened yesterday and is expected to be opened to traffic in 2027.

According to the plan, the Nanjing section of the Chuning intercity railway starts from the border of Jiangsu and Anhui provinces and ends at Nanjing North Station. Due to the fact that Nanjing North Station has not yet started construction, there has been no substantial progress in the Nanjing section to this day. However, according to the "Nanjing North Station Comprehensive Transportation Hub Collection and Distribution System Plan" released by Nanjing in February this year, the preliminary plan for the construction of the Nanjing North Station station building is to start in the fourth quarter of 2023, and the Nanjing section of the Chuning Intercity Railway project will "strive to be completed and put into use simultaneously with Nanjing North Station." According to a report by Nanjing Daily in February this year, Nanjing North Station has clearly planned to open to traffic in 2027. Therefore, the Chuning intercity railway is expected to be fully opened in 2027.
3. From tomorrow on, Hangzhou's 6 personal defense projects will be free to cool off.
