To give back to the "Angels in White" and their children, as well as to the public welfare project "Together under the Blue Sky, Benefiting Pedestrians in Beijing", including Peking Opera and public welfare
In combination with the "May 12" Nurses' Day and the "June 1" Children's Day, on June 4, the public welfare project of "Under the Blue Sky Together, Jingcai Benefiting Pedestrians" welcomed the second activity of this year, especially the medical staff of Ruijin Hospital and their children.
It is reported that the Shanghai Charity Foundation and the Shanghai Peking Opera Theatre have been cooperating in public welfare and charity for nearly 20 years. In March of this year, in order to further deepen the content and form of cooperation, the two sides launched the "Together under the Blue Sky, Benefiting Pedestrians in Beijing" public welfare project. The project is based on the Shanghai Peking Opera Study Hall and benefits young people, providing "immersive" cultural services to experience the art of Peking Opera.
During the event, theater volunteers introduced the past and present of the excellent cultural and historical building, the Beijing Opera Study Hall, the historical evolution of Beijing Opera art, and objects such as the front face of Beijing Opera. Through the on-site simulation of the stage scene model of the newly edited historical Peking Opera "Zhenguan Shengshi", everyone further feels the charm of Peking Opera stage art.
In the small theater of the Chuanxi Hall, theater volunteers specially arranged a rich and lively Peking Opera experience class, including an introduction to the art of Peking Opera costumes and interactive teaching of singing, recitation, and body movements in different professions. It is worth mentioning that under the skillful hands of young makeup artists in the theater and the guidance of professional actors, the children who participated in the makeup experience became vivid little playwrights and Sun Wukong, and made stunning appearances in the classroom, becoming "little models" for on-site teaching, instantly attracting everyone's attention.
It is understood that the project will continue to expand the coverage of the beneficiaries of young people, and through the dissemination and promotion of national art, continuously enhance their national self-esteem, confidence, and pride.
