Interestingly, the top two destinations are North and South. According to the survey data, most of the tourists planning to go to Heilongjiang and Hainan are from the south and north, focusing on "north-south migration" and "home-changing tourism."
According to survey data, since this winter, 79.1% of the respondents are interested in traveling to the Northeast due to the overwhelming publicity; 13.1% of the respondents have already visited the Northeast. Only 7.2% of the respondents have no plans or intentions to travel to Northeast China for the time being.

Automobile industry profit margin drops to 5.0%, profitability pressure intensifies
Although automobile production and sales reached a record high in 2023, the profit margin of the automobile industry is still low.
Data recently released by the Passenger Car Association shows that from January to December 2023, the automotive industry's revenue reached 1.01 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 12%; costs were 880 million yuan, a year-on-year increase of 13%; profits were 508.6 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 5.9 %; the profit rate of the automobile industry is only 5.0%, which is still low compared to the average profit rate of the entire industrial enterprise of 5.8%.
Cui Dongshu, secretary-general of the Passenger Car Association, said that the automobile industry's production and sales are good under a high base, but the source of profits has changed. In 2023, profits will mainly come from "foreign wealth" and high-end luxury. The profits of most companies have declined sharply, and the survival pressure of some companies has increased. The current fuel vehicle market is profitable, but is shrinking rapidly; new energy vehicles are growing rapidly, but are experiencing large losses and greater conflict pressure.
Data on “borrowing” by local governments in 2023 will be made public
On January 30, the Ministry of Finance disclosed the issuance and debt balance of local government bonds in December 2023. According to data from the Ministry of Finance, local government bonds issued nationwide in 2023 will be 9,337.4 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of approximately 27%.
The current legal financing channel for local governments is the issuance of local government bonds. Last year, the scale of local borrowing hit a record high, nearly 2 trillion yuan more than in 2022. Local government bonds are divided into new bonds and refinancing bonds according to their uses. The former funds are mainly used for the construction of major projects such as infrastructure, while the latter funds are used to repay the principal of maturing local government bonds or existing debts, that is, "borrowing new and paying back old".
According to data from the Ministry of Finance, new bonds issued by local governments across the country in 2023 will be 4,657.1 billion yuan, a year-on-year decrease of 2%. In 2023, 4.6803 billion yuan of refinancing bonds will be issued, a year-on-year increase of 79%. It is not difficult to find that the reason why local borrowing hit a record last year was mainly because the scale of refinancing bonds hit a new high. On the one hand, the balance of local government debt due last year was large, and the contradiction between local fiscal revenue and expenditure was relatively prominent. Debt repayment relied more on borrowing new money to repay old ones.
