On September 5th, a reporter from Justice Network learned from the Supreme People's Procuratorate that Wang Yuhong, former deputy director of the Proposal Committee of the Shanxi Provincial Political Consultative Conference, was suspected of corruption, bribery, and abuse of power by personnel of state-owned companies. The investigation was concluded by the Shanxi Provincial Supervision Commission and transferred to the procuratorial organs for review and prosecution. Designated by the People's Procuratorate of Shanxi Province, the case shall be reviewed and prosecuted by the People's Procuratorate of Yangquan City. Recently, the People's Procuratorate of Yangquan City made an arrest decision against Wang Yuhong on suspicion of corruption, bribery, and abuse of power by state-owned company personnel in accordance with the law. According to public data, Wang Yuhong, male, Han nationality, was born in September 1955 in Linxian County, Shanxi Province, with a college degree, joined the CPC in October 1986, and started work in April 1973. Formerly served as the Party Secretary and Chairman of Shanxi Publishing and Media Group Co., Ltd; Deputy Director of the Proposal Committee of the Shanxi Provincial Political Consultative Conference. Retired in February 2018.
