People often ask me, how can I maintain such abundant enthusiasm after teaching for over 30 years? Standing outside of school, thinking about education from the perspective of comprehensive human development; Immersed in the school, following the laws of education to study and teach, ideals will not be extinguished, and there will always be passion in doing things.
To cultivate individuals with comprehensive development in morality, intelligence, physical fitness, aesthetics, and labor skills, the classroom should not be limited to the campus. Children step out of the campus and enjoy the vast reality, allowing the waves of knowledge to surge into the ocean of practice, making it easier for them to gain and understand. Since 2012, we have been trying to squeeze out half a day every Friday to deepen children's understanding of subject knowledge and social communication through practical activities. Studying the growth of cherry blossoms in parks, admiring fabrics from a century ago at the Silk Museum, and realizing the hard won beauty of life at national defense education bases... Almost every child can benefit from it. Children not only conduct on-site inspections, but also summarize and report on their learning outcomes. A broader perspective provides children with a more three-dimensional observation perspective, richer humanistic nourishment, and greatly unleashes their confidence and creativity. Although it is necessary to handle many issues such as teaching progress and student safety in order for children to leave campus for learning, as long as it is conducive to the comprehensive development and healthy growth of children, no matter how big the difficulties are, they must be overcome, and no amount of effort can be excessive.
Children are flowers, teachers are gardeners, and the improvement of gardener skills is of great significance to the growth of flowers. We are building a rich curriculum system for teacher growth to better stimulate the potential of students to grow and succeed through lifelong learning for educators. We have also continued the mentor apprentice pairing training model, regularly organizing teacher teaching skills competitions and setting up summer growth camps, balancing subject teaching and moral education. In mentoring, more outstanding teachers stand out and enable more students to enjoy better education. A good school can not only promote mutual learning within the campus, but also promote educational balance between urban and rural areas. Creating a rural teacher studio and developing it into a studio group, we cultivate batches of teachers, send high-quality educational content and resources to the countryside, and light up the dreams of rural students. Education is a leading cause, and the diligent efforts of individuals drive the continuous growth of the group, help improve the overall quality of education, and ultimately benefit the entire society.
Family is an important component of education guiding children's growth. Strengthening collaboration between families and schools can help improve the quality of education. "We should not only focus on whether our children fly high or not, but also on whether they are tired from flying." "The competition in life is not about immediate gains and losses, but long-term determination and pattern." A handwritten letter conveys a healthy educational philosophy and builds a spiritual bridge between home and school. On every monthly home visit day, more than 200 teachers visit students' homes, listen to educational demands, and share teaching experiences. Schools should utilize their professional expertise to guide families in establishing a scientific education system. By paying attention to progress and paying more attention to temperature, teachers and parents can have a comprehensive understanding of their children's physical and mental condition, and help them fasten the first button in life.
Being down-to-earth and daring to innovate, I will continue to work with sincerity to promote the joint cultivation and growth of my family and school, waiting for the fragrance of peach and plum blossoms.
