CCTV News: The China Federation of Logistics and Purchasing announced today the China E-commerce Logistics Index for August. The e-commerce logistics index has rebounded for eight consecutive months and has maintained a steady growth trend since the beginning of this year.
The China E-commerce Logistics Index in August was 111.1 points, a slight increase of 0.2 points from the previous month. In the sub indices, the inventory turnover index, actual load rate index, fulfillment rate index, satisfaction rate index, and personnel index continue to recover. Among them, the personnel index reached a high level since 2019, and the actual load rate index reached a historic high.
In August, under the impact of extreme weather in some areas, the total business volume index of e-commerce logistics slightly declined, but still maintained a high-speed growth of over 20%. Among them, the arrival of summer tourism, family visits, catering, accommodation, and the start of the school season has driven the rapid growth of e-commerce logistics demand for fast-moving consumer goods and fresh food categories.
Overall, e-commerce logistics maintains strong supply resilience, good service quality, and stable logistics efficiency.
