"For a long time, the core technology of ITO targets has been monopolized by foreign enterprises. Guangxi has abundant raw materials, but due to technological scarcity, these resources can only be initially processed and exported. Foreign countries further process them into ITO targets, and then resell them domestically at high prices." said Huang Shicheng, General Manager of Guangxi Jinglian Optoelectronic Materials Co., Ltd.

To solve this "bottleneck" problem, Huang Shicheng and his team have gone through more than 10 years of scientific research and breakthroughs in foreign technology blockades, and finally prepared ITO targets that meet international first-class standards in key technical indicators such as size and density. Through continuous improvement in technical processes, they have achieved domestic application.

Recently, in the production workshop of Liuzhou Dongfang Engineering Rubber Products Co., Ltd., the reporter saw isolated rubber bearings composed of overlapping layers of rubber and metal sheets continuously coming out of the assembly line. These seemingly inconspicuous supports are the "divine needles" that hold the sea for giant bridges such as the Hong Kong Zhuhai Macao Bridge and the Yangsigang Yangtze River Bridge in Wuhan.

"The company focuses on structural seismic isolation products as its core, and its products and technologies are widely used in major infrastructure construction such as highway transportation, rail transit, and construction." Vice General Manager Wen Zhiping said, "The company has also achieved multiple key technological innovations in segmented fields. Our independently developed products have broken the international market monopoly of basic seismic isolation in LNG storage tanks and nuclear power, achieved domestic substitution, and promoted a sharp decline in prices of similar products."
