On September 6th, the 2023 China International Fair for Trade in Services, with the theme of "openness leading development and cooperation for a win-win future," concluded. This year's Service Trade Fair has achieved more than 1100 results, and the internationalization rate of offline exhibitors exceeds 20%.
Ding Yong, Director of the Beijing Municipal Bureau of Commerce, introduced at the closing press conference of the 2023 China International Trade in Services Fair that the Fair had achieved more than 1100 achievements in seven aspects, including the transaction projects, investment, strategic agreements, authoritative release, initial innovation and alliance platform, which contributed to the new headquarters of Ebara Group in Beijing and the construction projects of Beijing Construction Engineering Group in the "the Belt and Road" countries. The internationalization rate of offline exhibitors in this year's Service Trade Fair exceeds 20%, including more than 500 Fortune Global 500 and industry leading enterprises, covering 28 of the top 30 countries and regions in service trade.
The 5-day Service Trade Fair held an exhibition of 155000 square meters, more than 200 forum discussions, and more than 2400 offline exhibitors and 6700 online exhibitors. The new technologies and applications of domestic and foreign exhibitors can be showcased brilliantly: the numerous new energy vehicles from various brands attract attention; New medical service equipment such as deep sleep cabins and health monitoring all-in-one machines are novel; Intelligent devices allow viewers to virtually participate in football matches
"This year's Fair for Trade in Services further demonstrates China's unchanged stance and firm determination to promote high-level opening up to the outside world and enhance open cooperation, and further showcases the brilliant highlights and outstanding achievements of China's innovative development of service trade and the expansion of service industry opening up." said Zhang Guosheng, Deputy Director of the Department of Service Trade and Trade Services of the Ministry of Commerce.

We look forward to sharing the achievements of Chinese path to modernization in the field of technical services," said Du Tao, the British trade envoy to China.
Zhang Guosheng said, "Next, we will promote the release of the national and pilot free trade zone versions of the negative list of cross-border service trade, hold the 2023 BRICS Service Trade Forum well, upgrade the construction of a national service trade innovation and development demonstration zone, actively expand the import of high-quality services, and encourage the expansion of knowledge intensive service exports."
