According to the Russian Sputnik News Agency on September 6, the press secretary of the Russian President Peskov said that the United States would continue to keep Ukraine in a state of war at all costs until the last person of the Ukrainian side fought.
Peskov said, "We have heard statements multiple times that they plan to continue helping the Kyiv side as much as possible. In other words, they will continue to maintain Ukraine in a state of war at any cost and will fight until the last Ukrainian. This is our understanding, and this is very clear."
He also emphasized that this will not affect the progress of special military operations.

According to Agence France Presse, a senior U.S. State Department official who was traveling with Antony Blinken said, "We expect the Secretary of State to announce that the United States will provide more than $1 billion in new aid to Ukraine during his visit."
