The 2023 Pujiang Innovation Forum, co hosted by the Ministry of Science and Technology and the Shanghai Municipal Government, will be held in Shanghai from September 9th to 11th, with the theme of "An Open Innovation Ecology: Innovation and Global Links". The host country of this forum is Brazil, and the host province is Hubei Province. The opening ceremony and plenary session, 2 themed forums, 9 themed forums, 2 exhibition matchmaking events, and the "China Pakistan Night" will be held.

This year, the Pujiang Innovation Forum will resume offline activities and invite over 300 international organizations, top universities, research institutions, and industry experts and scholars from 32 countries and regions around the world, including China, Brazil, the United States, the United Kingdom, Germany, France, to participate in this international innovation event. The proportion of foreign guests is nearly 40%. The opening ceremony will be held on the morning of September 10th at the Dongjiao Hotel located in Pudong.

The year 2023 marks the 30th anniversary of the establishment of a strategic partnership between China and Brazil, laying the foundation for exploring new channels of bilateral cooperation and launching a new round of scientific and technological innovation cooperation. The Federal Republic of Brazil has been invited as the guest of honor for this forum. During the forum, relevant activities such as the "First China Brazil Nanotechnology Symposium" and the fourth China Brazil Innovation Week will be held to jointly explore new paths for cooperation in industry, academia, and research between the two sides.

During the forum, the Ministry of Science and Technology will organize two special forums.
