According to a recent update on the official website of the Supreme People's Court, Deng Xiuming has been appointed as the Deputy Secretary of the Party Group and Vice President in charge of daily work of the Supreme People's Court.

Deng Xiuming, male, Han nationality, born in Pengxi, Sichuan Province in December 1964, joined the CPC in March 1992 and started work in July 1981, with a postgraduate degree and a doctor of law. Alternate member of the 20th Central Committee. Member of the 19th Central Commission for Discipline Inspection.

Deng Xiuming once served as the Vice President of the Higher People's Court of Sichuan Province, and later served as the Deputy Secretary of the Chengdu Municipal Party Committee and Secretary of the Municipal Commission for Discipline Inspection. In February 2016, Deng Xiuming was transferred to the position of Secretary of the Central State Organs Commission for Discipline Inspection and a member of the Central State Organs Commission for Discipline Inspection. In December of the same year, he was transferred to the position of Standing Committee Member and Secretary of the Tianjin Municipal Commission for Discipline Inspection. In November 2021, Deng Xiuming was appointed as a member of the Standing Committee of the Jiangsu Provincial Party Committee and Secretary of the Political and Legal Affairs Committee. Later, in July 2022, he became the Deputy Secretary of the Jiangsu Provincial Party Committee.
In July of this year, Deng Xiuming made a public appearance as the Deputy Secretary of the Supreme People's Court Party Group, and was later appointed as the Vice President of the Supreme People's Court on September 1st.
