The report points out that from January to July 2023, the number of recruitment positions in the new energy vehicle business sector increased by 18% year-on-year; The recruitment positions for state-owned car companies are mainly focused on design/manufacturing, and there is a high demand for sales positions in new car making forces; Electrical engineers have become the main force in the research and development of new energy vehicle companies, and there is a high demand for embedded software skills in the development of onboard systems. In addition, software operation has become an essential skill in the automotive industry, while programming is a scarce skill for high paying technical positions.
From the perspective of the types of car companies engaged in new energy business, the competition index of joint venture car companies is the highest, reaching 130.5, followed by private car companies, with a competition index of 117.2. Joint venture car companies, with their long-standing international brand image, have a certain attraction to industrial talents. In contrast, the job search competition indices for new car manufacturers and state-owned car companies are 75.6 and 75.5, respectively. With the rapid growth of new car manufacturing forces and salary advantages, more industry talents will be attracted to join in the future.
