In the middle of 2023, global IPO activity continued to slow down in the first half of the year, while the-share market showed relative activity. According to the "Mainland China and Hong Kong IPO Market" report released by Ernst & Young on June 29, Mainland China is still an important region for global IPO activities, with the number of IPOs and the amount of funds raised accounting for 28% and 50% of the world's total respectively. Among them, the top two global IPO funds are from the Chinese mainland market, namely the Shanghai Stock Exchange and the Shenzhen Stock Exchange. In the world's top ten IPOs, Chinese companies occupy 5 seats, and the industries involved are technology, energy and power, retail and consumer goods. In the first half of 2023, a total of 173 companies are expected to go public in the-share market, raising 210.4 billion RMB, and the number of IPOs increased by 2% year-on-year. But the amount of funds raised is lower than the same period last year.
