1. Suqian Yangzhou Huai'an Yancheng Elects New Mayor
On August 19th, the Third Session of the Ninth People's Congress of Yancheng City elected Zhang Mingkang as the Mayor of Yancheng City.
On August 17th, the Third Session of the Ninth People's Congress of Huai'an City elected Gu Kun as the Mayor of Huai'an City.
On August 15th, the Third Session of the Ninth People's Congress of Yangzhou City elected Pan Guoqiang as the Mayor of Yangzhou City.
On August 11th, the third session of the sixth People's Congress of Suqian City elected Liu Hao as the Mayor of Suqian City.
2. Zhejiang will add a national park: Qianjiangyuan Baishanzu National Park
After the official establishment of the first batch of national parks, China will steadily and orderly promote the establishment of new national parks such as Huanghekou, Qianjiangyuan Baishanzu, and Karamaili. This is the statement made by Guan Zhiou, Director of the National Forestry and Grassland Administration, at the second National Park Forum held in Xining, Qinghai on the 19th. Chinese national parks are specific land or sea areas that aim to protect nationally representative natural ecosystems and achieve scientific protection and rational utilization of natural resources. In October 2021, China officially established the first batch of national parks, including Sanjiangyuan, Giant Panda, Amur Tiger and Amur Leopard, Hainan Tropical Rainforest and Mount Wuyi.
3. Suzhou supports high-quality development of live streaming e-commerce
Recently, Suzhou has issued several measures to support the high-quality development of live streaming e-commerce in Suzhou. Suzhou has obvious advantages in the live streaming e-commerce industry. In 2022, the retail sales of live streaming e-commerce in the city reached 55.01 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 79.2%, ranking first in Jiangsu Province. Among them, Changshu, Wuzhong, and Suzhou industrial parks together account for nearly 70%. Suzhou is presenting a development trend of "live streaming+characteristic industries" with its huge manufacturing foundation and distinct industrial characteristics, forming a batch of characteristic industrial belts for live streaming e-commerce such as clothing, beauty, small household appliances, and silk.
