In the first quarter of this year, the regional GDP of three provinces and one city in Shanghai, Jiangsu, Zhejiang, and Anhui reached 7.4 trillion yuan, accounting for about 25% of the country’s total. The overall strength and comprehensive competitiveness of the Yangtze River Delta region continues to rank among the top in the country.

General Secretary Xi Jinping has high hopes for this hot land and has personally planned and continued to promote the integrated development of the Yangtze River Delta. In today's Yangtze River Delta, integrated collaborative innovation is more active, and the construction of a scientific and technological innovation community is advancing in an all-round way. At present, 43 scientific and technological innovation projects in the Yangtze River Delta are being jointly tackled and implemented across regions and fields. Led by Shanghai and jointly built by Jiangsu, Anhui and Zhejiang, the Yangtze River Delta National Technology Innovation Center has established a total of 97 professional research institutes and integrated innovation platforms, transferred and transformed more than 9,000 technological achievements, served more than 20,000 companies, and provided innovative resources Smooth flow in the Yangtze River Delta region.

Today's Yangtze River Delta is an integrated ecological environment joint protection and joint management. The average proportion of good days in 41 cities at prefecture level and above in the Yangtze River Delta reached 83.7%, and the proportion of good water bodies in 594 national examination surface water sections reached 93.4%. In the Yangtze River Delta Ecological Green Integrated Development Demonstration Zone, the Taipu River, which flows through Jiangsu, Zhejiang and Shanghai, is busy. This year, the Shanghai-Suzhou-Huzhou high-speed railway connecting Shanghai, Suzhou, and Huzhou will be fully opened; the Yangtze River Delta will accelerate the formation of a half-hour commuting circle, a one-hour living circle, and a three-hour high-speed rail circle.
