In less than 60 days, the 6th CIIE will be held offline in Shanghai, China. When it comes to the reasons for participating in this event, the China International Import Expo stated that it has come from a long distance and sent a sincere invitation to Kazakhstan to participate in the exhibition in Astana, which is a strong response to the cooperation and consensus reached by the heads of state of China and Kazakhstan at the China Central Asia Summit; This indicates that the CIIE is firmly committed to becoming a platform for Harbin enterprises to enter the Chinese market and help them share the dividends of the Chinese market.
In the first five CIIE sessions, Kazakhstan participated in national comprehensive exhibitions multiple times, and in the second session, it also participated as a guest of honor. The successful hosting of the CIIE is inseparable from the active participation of the Kazakh government and enterprises.
It is reported that Kazakhstani companies have participated in the CIIE for five consecutive sessions. Despite the impact of the epidemic, an average of about 20 companies have participated in each session, showcasing products such as dairy products, flour products, candies, etc. Some of the exhibits have become internet famous products and are widely welcomed by Chinese consumers. In recent years, Harbin enterprises have accumulated a total intention to participate in the CIIE with a transaction amount of 430 million US dollars.
The five Central Asian countries, including Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, and Turkmenistan, have all been important exhibitors in previous CIIE. Numerous new products, technologies, and services have entered the Chinese market through the CIIE. In terms of agricultural products, besides dairy products and candies from Kazakhstan, honey from Kyrgyzstan, and canned rice from Uzbekistan have all been placed on Chinese dining tables. It can be said that the CIIE has provided strong impetus for the upgrading and deepening of China Central Asia economic and trade cooperation.
