On August 18th, the Shanghai Sports Center, a "star venue" that witnessed the changes of the times and the countless glories of Chinese sports, welcomed the 2023 MAGIC3 Shanghai Youth Three on Three Super Basketball Tournament and the Shanghai Student Sunshine Sports League Three on Three Basketball Tournament Finals.
In the summer of 2023, MAGIC3, this five-year "youthful promise", arrived as scheduled. This year, the public group of the competition attracted 3057 youth teams from 337 schools to register, with 12228 participants, showcasing the infinite charm and unique appeal of MAGIC3. After multiple rounds of selection in regional and regional competitions, it was ultimately decided that eight teams, male and female, each, would advance to the finals.
MAGIC3 "Magic Arena" is set up in Oriental Pearl TV Tower City Square, Xujiahui Sports Park, Shanghai Stadium, Songjiang Guangfulin Relics Park, Yangpu Binjiang Wharf, Bund Central Plaza and other landmark landscapes in Shanghai for this event. The athletes play a good competitive state in the field with their vigorous posture and skilled technology. In the final of that day, the championship battle for the Volkswagen men's group was held between the Blue 90 team and the main supporting team. The players from both sides were full of firepower, and exciting scenes such as active fighting, exquisite cooperation, and precise projection continued to be played on the field. The women's group final was also full of sparks, and it felt like a team and a family of four showed the spirit of "fearless Jinlan", fearless and daring to fight and fight. In 2021, MAGIC3 made its debut in Shanghai, in Changzhou and Taicang, Jiangsu; Hangzhou and Ningbo, Zhejiang; Anhui Hefei and other cities in the Yangtze River Delta held the Yangtze River Delta Open Tournament. This year, in order to further strengthen the exchange of youth sports in the Yangtze River Delta region and actively create branded youth sports events in the region, MAGIC3 has invited outstanding three player basketball teams from Jiangsu, Zhejiang, and Anhui to Shanghai and Shanghai for the first time to exchange skills and interact.

Outside the arena, MAGIC3 remains incredibly exciting. The video recording collection activities of "Commentary Experts" and "Basketball Frontline" have built a diversified sports participation platform for young people who love sports. Since its launch, the "Commentary Expert" activity has received nearly a hundred submissions for participation. During the regional competition, the organizers set up an anime themed "MAGIC3 Commentary Studio" at the competition site of Bailian Central Shopping Plaza. Basketball loving teenagers can experience the game commentary on the sidelines and record their own MAGIC3 stories. The ongoing "basketball frontline" video recording activity has also attracted hundreds of teenagers to actively participate. On the "Dream Practice Platform" of MAGIC3, young people carefully create exciting moments and touching stories of the competition, and together draw a beautiful picture of young people striving upwards.
Starting from 2023, the MAGIC3 season will continue from July of that year until June of the following year. In October this year, the MAGIC3 Elite Group competition will be held for registered youth basketball players. In November, a "one-stop" school layout challenge will be held for basketball projects at both levels in the urban area. In addition to competitions, this season MAGIC3 will continue to organize various peripheral activities at different time stages throughout the year, including MAGIC3 Basketball Campus Tour, MAGIC3 Basketball Theme Cheerleading Competition, etc., to achieve MAGIC3 competition activities that are "monthly and seasonal", creating more opportunities for teenagers to participate in and experience basketball.
Basketball never ends, youth never leaves a blank. From 2019 to 2023, MAGIC3 has grown and progressed together with young people in the past five years, and has become a brand basketball event for young people in Shanghai. The contestants used their sweat and hard work to interpret the true essence of basketball, and also felt the vitality and resilience of youth.
