Shanghai's time-honored Nanxiang Xiaolong Steamed Buns cooperates with international luxury brands
On May 30, international luxury brand Balenciaga held a spring 25 series release show in Shanghai. In order to pay tribute to Shanghai's traditional culture and special cuisine, Balenciaga has launched a new cooperation with Nanxiang Steamed Bun Palace in Xintiandi, Shanghai.
From May 29th to June 2nd, Balenciaga will cooperate with Nanxiang Mantou Palace, which is committed to giving innovative concepts to the century-old Xiaolongbao, to launch a 5-day limited snack and event-specific takeaway packaging. Guests dining outdoors can enjoy their meals under pyramid-shaped multi-layered gray parasols decorated with Balenciaga collaboration logo patterns.
This collaboration features the Balenciaga French Black Truffle Xiao Long Bao, a thin gray outer shell wrapped with a refreshing vegetarian filling, exuding an alluring aroma in a custom-made bamboo steamer.
This time Nanxiang Mantou Palace will also launch a special victory cake with the Balenciaga BB logo printed on it. Dingsheng cake is a traditional snack in Jiangsu, Zhejiang and Shanghai. It is named after the two characters "dingsheng" on the cake, which has a beautiful meaning of victory.
From now until June 2, consumers can eat at Nanxiang Steamed Bun Hall, or log in to the mini program to order takeout. The number of takeaways is limited to 200 per day. The special victory cake launched in this collaboration will be packed in Balenciaga’s classic gray wrapping paper and shopping bags, and will be sold in limited quantities online and offline.
