It is estimated that by 2030, the joint construction of the "the Belt and Road" will lift 7.6 million people in relevant countries out of extreme poverty and 32 million people out of moderate poverty, and will increase global income by 0.7% to 2.9%.

Relevant cooperation concepts and propositions of the joint construction of the "the Belt and Road" have been included in the outcome documents of the United Nations, the Group of 20, APEC, the Shanghai Cooperation Organization and other important international mechanisms.
