In early October, ticket sales will officially begin commercial operations. Ya'an Wanzhou High speed Railway is the first high-speed railway in Indonesia and Southeast Asia. It is also the flagship project of China's joint construction of the "the Belt and Road" initiative and Indonesia's "Global Marine Fulcrum" concept docking, and China Indonesia practical cooperation. Chinese technology and Chinese standards are used throughout the line. The Jakarta Bandung high-speed railway connects the Indonesian capital Jakarta with the tourist city of Bandung, with a total length of 142.3 kilometers and a maximum operating speed of 350 kilometers per hour. It starts from Jakarta and passes through the cities of Wukasi, Wukasi Regency, Karawang Regency, Puwangada Regency, West Bandung Regency, Zhima Market, and Bandung Regency, and ends in Bandung. It has four stations: Halim, Karawang, Padarang, and Dekarur.

After the opening of the Jakarta Bandar high-speed railway, from September 7th to September 30th, 8 passenger trains will be arranged daily between Halim Station in Jakarta and Bandar Karur Station according to the train schedule. Citizens along the line can make an appointment with Indonesia China High Speed Railway Co., Ltd. for a free ride experience. Ticket sales will officially begin commercial operation in early October, and the number of passenger trains will be determined based on market demand to meet the travel needs of people along the route.
The Yawan high-speed railway multiple unit is designed and manufactured by a Chinese enterprise using advanced and mature technology of the Chinese standard multiple unit with a speed of 350 kilometers per hour, adapting to the operating environment and line conditions in Indonesia, and integrating Indonesian local culture. It has the characteristics of advanced technology, safety and comfort. Each high-speed train consists of 8 cars, equipped with VIP, first class, and second class seats, with a total capacity of 601 people. It can be operated in multiple units and is equipped with accessible facilities such as disabled restrooms and Braille signage, as well as vending cabinets, coffee machines, microwaves, and other equipment, providing passengers with a good riding experience.

The geological environment along the Yawan high-speed railway is complex, and the engineering construction is very difficult. Chinese and Indonesian participating units fully draw on the successful experience of China's high-speed rail construction, adhere to the concept of ecological and environmental protection, strengthen survey and design and construction organization, strengthen safety and quality control, and promote engineering construction in a scientific, orderly, high-quality and efficient manner. The project route selection maximizes avoidance of unfavorable geological conditions such as landslides and volcanoes, innovatively designs bridges with better seismic isolation performance, ballastless tracks with higher smoothness, and advanced systems with stronger train operation control. Thirteen tunnels and 56 bridges have been built to high standards.

During the construction of the Jakarta Bandung high-speed railway, a large amount of procurement and use of locally produced cement and other raw materials in Indonesia have driven local economic development.
