Set sail again after 45 days! The "Aida Magic City" has launched a new voyage for completion verification
On September 7th, the first domestically produced large cruise ship "Aida Modu" slowly departed from the Waigaoqiao Shipbuilding Terminal 4 under China Shipbuilding Group Co., Ltd. under the traction of a tugboat, and began a new journey of completion verification. This is the first successful completion of all test projects for the first sea trial on July 24th, and after 45 days, it has been fully assembled and set sail again, fully implementing the final completion test plan.
The first trial voyage mainly involves preliminary verification of system functions and testing of relevant overall performance, vibration and noise indicators. The completion of this trial voyage will comprehensively verify and submit the navigation system, propulsion system, power station management system, fire alarm system, broadcasting system, as well as the functions of automated smart grid, vibration and noise, and safe return to port of the entire ship. The scientific research projects of "Key Technologies for High tech Ocean going Passenger Ship Navigation Test", "Research on Cruise Cabin Environmental Control System", and "Research on High tech Ocean going Passenger Ship Vibration and Noise Control Technology" will be verified, steadily moving towards the final named delivery milestone node.
The reporter learned that during the interval between the two sea trials, the Waigaoqiao Shipbuilding Cruise Project team raced against time and day and night to eliminate feedback from the closed-loop shipowner, fully promoting interior engineering and related system functional testing, creating conditions for the completion of the sea trials and consolidating the foundation.
Among them, the interior engineering of cabins, catering and other areas is basically coming to an end, and public areas such as passenger stairs, cinemas and theaters, atrium squares, water parks, and high-altitude rope sports projects have been completed or basically completed, with an overall progress of 95%.
At the same time, 33 functional tests for debugging program management were also completed, especially with a significant improvement in the completion rate of the formal marine safety assurance system. The inspection of all lifeboats and sea evacuation systems has been completed; The completion of high-pressure water mist fire extinguishing system exceeds 80%; More than 90% of carbon dioxide fire extinguishing systems have been completed; 91.36% completion of the universal alarm and broadcasting system; The fire alarm system completed 89.52%. This means that more formal safety assurance systems on board will be put into use for this completed trial voyage, effectively improving the level of safety assurance during the trial voyage.
During the docking period in the shipyard, we also focused on tackling the remaining debugging work of the generator and completed key testing projects such as sequential generator start-up and heavy oil conversion tests.
The Waigaoqiao Shipbuilding Cruise Project team has further improved and upgraded the trial outline, refining and optimizing the operational steps and content of relevant tests.
It is reported that this completed sea trial will conduct testing and inspection on more than 90 sea trial projects involving 31 debugging procedures, including regional vibration and noise testing, exhaust gas washing, desulfurization, general broadcasting alarm sound pressure, magnetic compass calibration, etc. The focus will be on diesel heavy oil conversion, and testing of contract speed, durability testing, unmanned cabin and other projects in heavy oil state.
Introduction to Waigaoqiao Shipbuilding: In order to ensure the success of the trial voyage, a completion trial working group has been specially established, with Chen Gang, the general manager of Waigaoqiao Shipbuilding and the chief designer of large cruise ships, as the overall commander. It has a maritime command center and a shore based support center. The two centers have a navigation test group, logistics support group, and 13 professional groups under their jurisdiction, forming a management matrix of "1+2+2+13", achieving unified command while each performing its own duties, forming a joint force to meet various challenges of completed sea trials.
It is understood that more than 1300 ship owners, ship inspectors, contractors, service providers, and engineering and technical personnel from Waigaoqiao Shipbuilding participated in this completion trial, including more than 100 foreign personnel.
