In view of the impact of the rainstorm, according to the relevant provisions of the Interim Relief Measures of Shenzhen City, citizens who are in trouble in basic life due to the rainstorm disaster can apply for emergency temporary relief:
1. Apply for a one-time temporary relief fund.
Eligible citizens can obtain a per capita relief fund of not less than the city's minimum living security standard for two months and not more than the minimum living security standard for three months to help citizens affected by rainstorm tide over difficulties and ensure the basic life of the people.
2. Apply for the distribution of rescue supplies.
When citizens are faced with emergency material difficulties due to the impact of rainstorm, the district civil affairs department, street offices, community work organizations, relief management organizations and charity supermarkets can help provide clothing, food, drinking water and other physical assistance.
3. Provide temporary shelter.
If citizens fail to return to their homes due to the rainstorm, they can go to the relief management agencies at all levels in Shenzhen. The relief management agencies will provide temporary accommodation, food and daily care.
Application method
Shenzhen does not distinguish between emergency temporary assistance and registered residence. Families or individuals who have temporary serious difficulties in basic life and need to take immediate relief measures can go to the neighborhood office to apply for relief.
1. In principle, emergency rescue recipients should apply in the name of their families. If an individual is temporarily unable to obtain family support, they can apply in their own name. Provide ID card, valid residence materials, authorization materials for verifying family economic status, and relevant supporting documents when applying.
If the application materials are not prepared in a timely manner, citizens can apply first, and the street office and district civil affairs department will provide advance assistance according to the actual situation. If the conditions for advance assistance are met, relevant procedures will be completed within 10 working days after the emergency situation is lifted.
3. Citizens can apply for temporary assistance to the street office within 3 months from the date of difficulty.
