The photos released by netizens show that the date printed on the outer packaging of this batch of "Selected Beef Willow" is November 19, 2021, with a shelf life of 12 months, which has expired for 10 months. The manufacturer is Wuxi Shangkou Fragrance Food Co., Ltd., which has attracted the attention and concern of many parents.
On the early morning of the 9th, the Market Supervision Bureau of Huishan District, Wuxi City, issued an investigation report, stating that employees of the catering service company responsible for delivering meals mistakenly uploaded historical pictures due to being late for work, saving time and convenience.

The person in charge then sent a text message saying, "The ingredients have procedures, and the market supervision department has come."
However, according to a search by reporters, the company was administratively punished in 2019, with 2000 kilograms of meat without a production date being confiscated and fined 209000 yuan.
Parents question whether the school's ingredients were produced 2 years ago.
The reporter saw on the WeChat official account of Wuxi Lianyuan Street Primary School that in the "Week 1 Menu" released on September 3, the school did have the dish "Beef Fillet with Scallion and Oyster Sauce" on September 8, and the menu was provided by Wuxi Yishihui Campus Logistics Service Co., Ltd.
Due to concerns about their children getting expired pre made meals at school, many parents find it difficult to accept, "Eating pre made meals is okay, it's still expired!"
According to the official website of the school, Wuxi Lianyuan Street Primary School was originally named Shishi School. It was founded by educator Yang Moji with private funds in 1898 at Shoushan Academy on Lianyuan Street in the city. It is one of the earliest modern educational primary schools in China.

At 3:44 am on the 9th, the Market Supervision Bureau of Huishan District, Wuxi City, Jiangsu Province, issued an investigation report regarding parents complaining about the use of expired ingredients in schools. After preliminary investigation, the ingredients on that day were named "Guoyou Niuliu", with a specification of 15kg/box, production date of September 5, 2023, and a shelf life of 12 months. They were purchased on September 7, 2023, and delivered to Wuxi Huishan Branch of Baolan Student Catering Service Co., Ltd. on September 8, 2023. A total of 44 boxes were used on that day, with 33 boxes remaining in the cold storage. There is no use of expired ingredients. The Niuliu image file with production dates of November 19th and November 23rd, 2021, was created on March 28th, 2022. After inquiry, it was found that employee Tong of the company was late for work and had a time limit for uploading photos. In order to save time and convenience, he did not go to the cold storage site to take photos of the ingredients for the day. He hastily adopted an extremely irresponsible attitude and searched for the aforementioned beef and willow image files that had previously existed on the computer and uploaded them.

It is an enterprise mainly engaged in food manufacturing, with a registered capital of 1 million yuan. On September 25, 2019, the company was administratively punished by the Market Supervision Administration of Xishan District, Wuxi City. On March 7, 2019, law enforcement officers conducted an on-site inspection of the business premises located at No. 8 Du Village, Jingxi Village, Xibei Town, Xishan District, and found that the party was engaged in the production, processing, and operation of frozen food. Two types of food were found in the cold storage on the first floor of the party involved, including "ordinary employee meals" without production dates and "small lean meat" that has exceeded the shelf life. The weight and production date of the two types of food mentioned above are detailed in [Property List 07, No. 3-7]. The parties provided their business license, food production license, and food business license on site.
