Plan to summon 150 witnesses and hold a hearing on the Trump case in Georgia, United States
On September 6th local time, the Fulton County High Court in Georgia held a hearing on former US President Trump's attempt to overturn the results of the 2020 US presidential election in Georgia.
At the hearing that day, Special Prosecutor Nathan Wade stated that if all co defendants were tried together, the trial of the case is expected to take four months. Trump and 18 others are co defendants in this case.
Wade said, "The trial of these 19 defendants will take four months, not including the choice of jury. Of course, it also depends on whether the defendants will choose to testify. But our estimated time is four months."
According to the Congressional Hill, on the 6th local time, Georgia prosecutors stated that they plan to summon at least 150 witnesses to investigate this widely influential election interference case.
