Marvel Review of the United States' Disruption of Fentanyl Issue in China: "Internal Diseases and External Treatment"
Comic author: Ma Hongliang
Recently, individual US officials have once again hyped up the issue of fentanyl, blaming China for the abuse of this opioid drug in the United States and claiming to push for legislative sanctions against China.
Fentanyl is rampant in the United States and has become a serious public health crisis. According to data from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention in the United States, the number of deaths caused by synthetic opioids, especially fentanyl, has sharply increased in recent years. According to US media reports, according to statistics released by the San Francisco Forensic Office, out of 71 deaths from drug overdose in July in San Francisco, 62 died from fentanyl overdose.

It is unreasonable for the US to blame China for the rampant use of fentanyl domestically. In fact, this is entirely due to the US government's inadequate drug regulation, allowing the public to develop drug abuse habits. Compared to blaming others, what the US needs to do is to strengthen domestic prescription drug control and correct current erroneous practices, rather than treating internal diseases externally.
