Zhang Zhidong's Chinese Painting Studio has been rooted in Beicai for thirty years, constantly seeking innovation and change in the field of art. It has established character painting creation salons and comic book creation classes, striving for excellence in the field of art incubation. Since the beginning of this year, Zhang Zhidong's Chinese Painting Studio has planned to launch parent-child art salons and art health salons that are more in line with the needs of the masses, further enhancing the influence and infectiousness of traditional Chinese culture in Beicai.
The Shanghai Old Camera Photography Museum is also one of the newly added Beicai Art Practice Bases. In the past 200 years, the essence of cameras and related processes gathered here to tell visitors about the artistic value of film and traditional processes. Hundreds of exhibits showcase the entire development process and century long glory from cameras to photosensitive technology and photo making technology, making it the largest camera museum in Shanghai at present.
Wang Hua, the director of the Shanghai Old Camera Photography Museum, stated that as the Beicai Art Practice Base, the museum's lectures, exhibitions and other activities will be prioritized for the community, residents, primary and secondary school students in Beicai to serve the cultural and artistic development needs of Beicai Town.

At present, the museum is holding an exhibition of "Disappearance and Affection - Image Works of Urban Village Demolition in Beicai Town", presenting more memorable memories to the community residents through artistic techniques. In the future, as one of the art practice bases in Beicai Town, museums will take the popularization of art among the public as their own responsibility and play a leading role based on their professional strength.
In recent years, Beicai Town has made many beneficial explorations and attempts in promoting popular culture and art. Through the integration of intangible cultural heritage and the characteristics of Beicai culture, modern culture and traditional culture, as well as foreign culture and local culture, have been organically integrated to create a group of cultural brand projects with Beicai characteristics.
