The Argentine Ministry of Science and Technology Innovation announced that its Minister Daniel Filmus signed a memorandum of understanding with officials from the Chinese Ministry of Natural Resources during his official visit to Beijing.
It is reported that the document proposes possible forms of cooperation between Argentina and China, including government delegations visiting each other, scholar and expert teams visiting each other, jointly conducting technical research, and jointly organizing seminars, training courses, and thematic forums.
Daniel Phelmus said, "The Memorandum of Understanding has brought important opportunities for both countries. The sustainable development of natural resources and energy transformation are unavoidable issues for today's world and future development."
According to the minister, Argentina has proposed a series of specific measures, such as establishing an online research center for natural resources and energy transition between the two countries, convening research teams from both countries to promote projects in this field, exchanging researchers from both countries, and conducting joint work in the maritime and Antarctic regions.
