In May 1945, superiors assigned Chinese Communist Party member Chen Zhenghua to carry out revolutionary work in the Zhuanqiao area. In July of the same year, Zhuanqiao Primary School teacher Tan Xun was recruited to join the party. In 1947, the party organization sent Comrades Cao Youmei and Hu Xunmo, members of the Communist Party of China, to carry out revolutionary activities in the Zhuanqiao area in the name of Zhuanqiao Primary School teachers, founded a series of progressive publications and social organizations, and developed a group of party members.
In 1949, the underground party organization of Zhuanqiao Primary School cooperated with the People's Liberation Army and liberated Zhuanqiao. In order to better inherit the red culture, as early as April 2022, Zhuanqiao Town set up the "Zhuanqiao Red Historical Site Memorial" monument at Zhuanqiao Primary School and established a monument protection squadron.
