At the intersection of Guangfu West Road and Jinyuan Road, adjacent to Sihang Warehouse, Fotografiska from Sweden is a landmark cultural institution in Suhe Bay. As an international video art center, Fotografiska pays great attention to its surrounding environment. "But you see, we are close to the Suzhou River. People often ride bicycles by, but there are no bicycles parked around us." Jiang Meiling said. It turns out that with the reasonable planning of Beizhan streets, many cyclists can easily find bicycle parking spaces. "Occasionally, one or two shared bicycles park around us. We notify the street, and in less than 10 minutes, the street will send staff to transport the bicycles away. It is very efficient."
When renovating the building, Fotografiska hoped to make the first floor look like a box, with the side facing the Suzhou River open to allow the artistic atmosphere to flow to the river. During the renovation, the company proposed that it would like to put some artistic seats on the open side, both as exterior seating and as public seats, so that citizens and tourists can sit down and rest at any time. After learning about the company's demands, Beizhan Street actively helped the company contact relevant district departments to explore the feasibility of placing seats without affecting the passage of passers-by. In the end, several red chairs with rich design were placed in front of the Fotografiska building, which not only enlivened the commercial atmosphere, but also facilitated citizens and tourists, and became part of the architectural scenery.
Another landmark of Suhewan, Suhewan Vientiane World, has become a popular commercial complex in Shanghai in less than two years since its opening, with an average daily flow of 160,000 people at its peak. But for a time, the e-bikes parked randomly by the delivery boy troubled Suhewan Vientiane World. The delivery boy went to a restaurant in Suhewan Vientiane World to pick up food and parked his electric bicycle at will, causing chaos in the surrounding environment of the commercial complex. The property initially had to ban parking across the board. As a result, the delivery boys collectively refused to "take" orders from merchants in Suhewan Vientiane World. Now, the merchants quit and "protested" to the property management. Yao Mian, general manager of Vientiane World Property in Suhewan, said that we quickly found Beizhan Street. The street staff and our security guards checked the parking situation of non-motorized vehicles on site and observed the movement of the takeaway boy to get the food. Yao Lei, secretary of the Party Working Committee of Beizhan Street, said that since last year, the street has been focusing on the four major dimensions of hardware, management, concept and art to continuously improve the quality of the neighborhood environment. Since March this year, 42 project goals in 17 categories have been formulated using the Suhe River as a space to promote implementation.
For example, the street has innovated a refined management mechanism, from cleaning up garbage to handling emergencies, achieving "3 minutes to arrive, 5 minutes to respond, and 10 minutes to actively handle"; it also launched the "red, yellow and green three-color classification supervision" model for the first time , dynamically classify the risk levels of "red, yellow and green" into three colors of "red, yellow and green" for 5 certified buildings, 2 shopping malls, 1 school, 1 construction site under construction and 58 merchants along the street, and implement different frequencies of regulatory inspections.
Beizhan Street also deeply explores the characteristics of the Suhewan area to create "different refinement". The Suhewan area has a strong artistic atmosphere. Wang Tianzheng, deputy director of the subdistrict, said that artistic and aesthetic education is not only a highlight that adds color to the Binhe Demonstration Area, but also its connotation and heritage. The street fully taps its potential and strives to build the "North Station Riverside Art Corridor" to build a world-class cultural and artistic exchange platform to allow art enterprises to develop better. At the same time, enterprises are guided to create an artistic atmosphere together. Recently, the street and enterprises have collaborated to design and customize 4,500 micro-tourism maps and customized "art passports", which are being distributed to citizens and tourists for free.
