There are currently 83 projects listed in the national, Shanghai, and Pudong New Area protection directory systems in the entire Pudong area. Among the 36 street towns in the area, 30 have been approved for protection, of which 8 are listed in the national level directory, 35 are listed in the Shanghai municipal level directory, and 40 are listed in the Pudong New Area level directory. There are 173 representative inheritors of intangible cultural heritage projects at all levels in the entire region. There are currently 8 municipal level intangible cultural heritage protection and inheritance bases, 15 community inheritance studios for representative inheritors of municipal level intangible cultural heritage projects, 13 district level intangible cultural heritage protection and inheritance bases, and 9 district level intangible cultural heritage protection and transmission institutes, covering various fields such as schools, communities, and cultural teams.
