"Shanghai Conservatory of Music" brand record promotes new artists and new works, the album "A River Song" is first released
On the afternoon of September 18, the vocal suite "Song of a River" album was released at the Shanghai Conservatory of Music's Music Castle. The creators and singers took the Yangtze River as the trunk and the scenery, customs and landscapes of the Yangtze River Basin as the branches. From the source to the estuary, they went downstream to collect geographical and cultural symbols on both sides of the river and created songs to praise the magnificent and magnificent scenery and the spirit of endless life and perseverance. "Song of a River" is also one of the "Shanghai Conservatory of Music" brand records jointly sponsored by China Record Co., Ltd. and Shanghai Conservatory of Music.
Poet and lyricist Qu Yuan served as the artistic director of "A River Song" and wrote all the lyrics. He said: "There is a Yangtze River in everyone's heart. The Yangtze River constantly gives us new inspiration. This inspiration is related to the perception of life, the accumulation of culture, and the customs, scenery, and scenery that I mentioned. I always want to emphasize the poetry in my works. On the bank of the Yangtze River, facing such a constantly flowing river, I am often moved."
Composers Zhang Qianyi and Yin Qing led the group, and together with composers Wang Bei, Zhang Hongguang, Fu Ke, Yang Yibo, Yin Qianwen, Wu Xiaoping, Deng Yao and others, they created more than 20 songs with the Yangtze River as the theme. As one of the initiators and music producer of "Songs of a River", Wang Bei said: "We should use popular and good methods for our own benefit. Folk songs can also become very popular. For example, the song "Song of a Mountain City" in the album incorporates electronic music that young people like. The creative process is full of challenges for me."
The singer of "A River Song", Chen Yangsheng, a young teacher at the Vocal Music Department of the Shanghai Conservatory of Music, grew up by the Yangtze River and drank the water of the Yangtze River. She has won many awards including the silver medal in the ethnic group of the China Music "Golden Bell Award" National Vocal Competition. She also performed in China's first SK opera film "He Luting" and participated in the Shanghai Conservatory of Music's original opera "Kangding Love Song".
"Teacher Wang Bei told me that the first drop of water flowing out from the Tanggula Mountains was very clean. Drop by drop, it gathered and eventually became a big river. The singing, lyrics and composition of "A River of Water" must be integrated into one," said Chen Yang.
