Relying on Shanghai and setting sail through the sea has always been the development wisdom upheld by the people of Nanxun. On the occasion of the 180th anniversary of Nanxun's integration with Shanghai, on July 18th, the "Seeking Cooperation Opportunities and Talking about Future Development" Nanxun District of Huzhou City fully integrated with Shanghai and the second batch of major project signing ceremonies in 2023 were held in Shanghai. 24 projects were signed in a concentrated manner, with a planned total investment of over 21.1 billion yuan, mainly focusing on three areas: seizing the new high-end manufacturing track represented by optoelectronic displays and semiconductors, biopharmaceuticals, and core components of new energy vehicles; Open up a new path for rural revitalization with the central kitchen of the Yangtze River Delta, the Agricultural Silicon Valley of the Yangtze River Delta, and the parent-child amusement park of the Yangtze River Delta as the main carriers; A new pattern of integrated development of agriculture, culture, and tourism, characterized by the revitalization of ancient towns, is being laid out to promote high-quality coordinated development of primary, secondary, and tertiary industries. The signing of this contract shows that Nanxun has fully opened up to Shanghai and actively integrated into the Yangtze River Delta.
As the eastern gateway of Huzhou's opening-up and the bridgehead connecting with Shanghai, Nanxun has been actively exploring ways and methods of communication and cooperation between the two regions. Based on comparative advantages, Nanxun is gradually exploring a new path of "research and development in Shanghai, incubation and industrialization in Nanxun".
"Shanghai's companies focus on research and development, while Nanxun's companies are mainly responsible for industrialization." Yin Zhongwei, founder of the Shanghai Jiao Tong University Sliding Bearing R&D Center and leader of the R&D team at Lianyi Technology, admitted, "Choosing to settle in the Nanxun Economic Development Zone Industrial Park is not only because of its geographical advantage, but also because it is located in the core area of the Yangtze River Delta, which is only a little over an hour's drive to Shanghai. On the other hand, Nanxun has a high desire to introduce high-tech enterprises and provides us with the maximum policy support."
Although the reasons for choosing Nanxun are very clear, Yin Zhongwei also had some concerns: as an innovative enterprise, the government needs to continuously provide services and support in its development. After all, Nanxun is only a district, and whether the business environment is good or not can service efficiency keep up?
"From project signing to production, it only took 5 months. The excellent entrepreneurial atmosphere, sound talent policies, and efficient government efficiency make us feel at ease." Yin Zhongwei led Lianyi Technology, currently holding an order with a production value of about 5 million yuan, using impressive results to "shatter" the concerns of the past.
In the past two years, more and more companies like Lianyi Technology have come from Shanghai to invest in Nanxun. To this end, Nanxun is accelerating the construction of a modern transportation system with three thousand ton waterways, four rail transit lines, and five expressways as the main body. With the completion of the Shanghai Suzhou Lake Railway next year, Nanxun will officially enter the "Shanghai 20 minute transportation circle", indicating a new level of convenience in transportation between the two places.
The rapid communication between Shanghai and Xuzhou has also brought more cooperation space: industrial docking, based on the "Ten Thousand Acres and One Hundred Billion" new industry platform of Nanxun Economic Development Zone, a batch of high-quality projects such as the Yifeng New Energy Vehicle Lightweight R&D and Production Base project with a total investment of over 5 billion yuan have settled in Nanxun; Transportation docking, Shanghai Port Group and Nanxun District have signed a cooperation agreement, forming business and overall cooperation with Shanghai Port through the development model of "inland dock+logistics park+comprehensive services"; Public service docking, Nanxun Lansheng Hongda deeply "holds hands" with Shanghai, promoting the sharing of high-quality educational and teaching resources
Integrating with Greater Shanghai and the Yangtze River Delta has not only been a long-standing goal of Nanxun for many years, but has also become its top strategy.

In January 2022, the Huzhou Municipal Party Committee and Government approved the establishment of the Huzhou Integration Shanghai Innovation Cooperation Zone in Nanxun, focusing on the core area of "one bay, one town, and one district", and building a future sector. According to the construction goals, by 2030, Nanxun and the Shanghai metropolitan area will achieve comprehensive integration, and the development level in areas such as industrial development, urban space, comprehensive transportation, and public services will be basically synchronized with Shanghai. Significant breakthroughs will be made in high-quality catch-up development, and the beautiful and prosperous new Jiangnan will be fully displayed, basically achieving high-level modernization.
