This summer, the campus of Chengdu University is bustling with activity - the Dayun Village is located here, with 10 athlete apartments, 2 athlete restaurants, as well as multiple service facilities such as the delegation service center and medical center. During the two weeks of the Universiade, this was the home of athletes from various countries in China.

Entering the international zone from the news center is where athletes live. Laundry shops, supermarkets, cafes... all kinds of living facilities are readily available, meeting the needs of various living spaces. Here, there is a particularly popular place - the interactive experience center. Shadow puppets, rope weaving, kites, Paper Cuttings, Shu embroidery/sachets, bamboo weaving, facial makeup, calligraphy/traditional Chinese painting, Han clothing and New Year pictures. There are nine cultural experience rooms, and 56 experience activities will be arranged every day. It is estimated that more than 10000 athletes will be received.
You can experience various traditional Chinese cultures at once, and the interactive experience center is undoubtedly one of the most popular venues in the Dayun Village. The protagonist of the shadow puppetry experience room is Rongbao, the mascot of the Universiade. After watching the performance of the inheritors of intangible cultural heritage, the two athletes were eager to give it a try. In the rope weaving experience room, Malaysian athletes are following their master to make Chinese knots. Although it was the first attempt, it was successfully completed. Holding the Chinese knot woven by oneself, feeling satisfied.
Shu embroidery attracts not only female athletes, but also male athletes. Volunteers wrote down their Chinese names for Kazakhstani athlete Farhad, picking up embroidery frames and needles for the first time, and a three foot old boy bravely became an "embroidery mother" once.
The Paper Cuttings experience room was crowded with people. Here, I followed my master to cut a cute Rongbao, and treasured it as a gift for my family.
