Recently, at the Jiading District Citizen Fitness Center, the 2023 "Industrial Bank Cup" Shanghai Urban Amateur League Shanghai Dry Land Curling Open Competition and the "All Jia Lai Competition" 2023 Jiading District Amateur League "Waigang Cup" Dry Land Curling Competition was lively. 14 representative teams and nearly 100 players from 12 streets and towns in Jiading District competed together, enjoying the "push and push" music of dry land curling.
"The performance of the contestants is commendable. Compared to previous competitions, the strength of the participating teams has significantly improved, and the team members have a clearer and more thorough understanding of the arrangement and rules of curling." The chief referee of the competition, Wang Jue, once served as the curling event referee for the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics and gave high praise to the contestants.
The champion team has added new strength
"I was a bit nervous when I participated in the dry land curling competition for the first time, but fortunately the team leader was always encouraging me. The feeling of actually playing was still good." Lei Jiantao, a member of the Yingfei Second Team who participated in the competition for the first time, excitedly shared his initial experience of participating.
As the champions of three consecutive dry land curling competitions, Yingfei Second Team can be said to be the focus of attention. The captain calmly laid out and commanded, with first base maintaining a stable position, followed closely by second and third bases. The tactics were adjusted according to the situation on the field, with a strong attack and a moderate attack and defense at fourth base, controlling the situation on the field, and cooperating harmoniously. For the performance of the new team member, veteran player Zhang Jianxin was very satisfied. "No matter how much luck we have, we need strength to support us. Our goal is to hit every base well and let the new team member curl up the curl 'high'."
It is understood that Shanghai Yingfei Tongren Fan Co., Ltd. has established a Yingfei Youth Training Camp in order to develop and strengthen the Yingfei dry land curling team. Through free training for enterprises, dryland curling competitions have been held in communities and parks, recruiting team members for enterprises and institutions within the jurisdiction to meet the diversified fitness needs of enterprises. "The curling project is interesting and innovative, and it is very popular in our company," said Gao Yan, the leader of Shanghai Volkswagen Powertrain Co., Ltd. from Jiading Industrial Zone. "Currently, our company has nearly 20 employees joining the dry land curling training. The other team participating in this competition is also a newly recruited team member, who is more energetic than our old team members."
As a pioneer in the dry land curling project in Jiading District, Yingfei Company's President Zhang Jingge also plans to promote the project to the Haimen branch. At the 2023 Waigang Town "Sending Services to Enterprises" and "Yingfei Cup" Fun Sports Games held by Ganghaoyi Enterprises recently, HR Manager Cai Zhenyu from Haimen Branch was invited to participate and experienced the pleasure of pushing, hitting, and layout on site. Xing Wei, the general manager of Furui Sports Culture Company, told reporters that he has been promoting the dry land curling project for many years, and the vitality of the development of this sport can be seen from the enthusiasm of participating companies. "Many players have learned about the rules of the project through dry land curling, and can better appreciate the competition of real ice curling. Currently, four dry land curling halls have been established in Jiading, providing venue support for hosting regional leagues. The next step is to consider establishing the Jiading District curling association, hoping that more people can try real ice curling in the future."
The Yangtze River Delta orienteering race begins with the "Treaty of Mountains, Seas, and Lakes"
Recently, with the theme of "Golden Carnival of Mountains, Seas, and Lakes", the 2023 "Shanghai Bay Area" Yangtze River Delta Automobile orienteering race was held in Xinyi Village, Fengjing Town, Jinshan District, attracting a total of 60 vehicles from Shanghai and Zhejiang to participate. Throughout the competition, contestants are required to strictly follow traffic regulations, use the map, drive on their own, and follow the prescribed route to check in.
The competition has two stages, each lasting for one day. The first stage of the competition will take place on June 18th in Jinshan, Shanghai and Jiaxing, Zhejiang. In the morning of that day, the contestants set off from Xinyi Village in Fengjing Town, Jinshan District, and went to Fengjing, Zhujing, and Tinglin towns of the G320 Cultural and Tourism Corridor in Jinshan District, as well as the Shanghai Bay Area High tech Industrial Development Zone. At the same time, they linked with Nanhu District and Jiashan County in Jiaxing City, Zhejiang Province, and set up check-in points within the Jiaxing City and Jiashan County. While enjoying the joy of driving, the contestants are surrounded by a thousand year old ancient town, a thousand year old temple, a thousand acre farm, and a thousand acre flower sea, experiencing the boundless beauty of the countryside and the enthusiasm of the Jiangnan ancient town. The second stage will be held in Mount Huangshan, Anhui Province in August. The contestants will move to the scenic area of Daye self driving tour in Shexian County, Anhui Province.
