Team by team, let's run! After two years, the 2023 Nike Children's Run in the Speed X series has returned. It will start at 7:00 am on September 3rd at the riverside in Hongkou, starting from Huangpu Road and ending at the waterfront platform in Hongkou.
From August 3rd to 5pm on August 8th, parents who want to showcase their skills with their babies can log in to the official website of Shangma or register for the corresponding competition through the Shangma app.
As the only children's running event tailored specifically for young runners in the horse racing series, this competition will be held under the slogan "One family, one team". This year's competition includes two events: parent-child running and children's mini marathon, with a competition size of 3000 people. The distance of the parent-child running event is 1.8 kilometers, with a total of 500 participating families, consisting of one parent/guardian and one child. The child is aged 5-8 years old. The parent-child running event requires the child and the parent to reach the finish line at the same time, and the score is calculated as two people reaching the finish line at the same time. The children's mini marathon competition has a distance of 4.2 kilometers, with a total of 1000 participating families. The age limit for participants is 9-12 years old, and participants must be composed of one parent/guardian and one child. The children's mini marathon is calculated based on the child's achievement of reaching the finish line, and does not count the results of accompanying parents.
This children's race adheres to the consistent high level and high requirements of horse racing, setting the standards of horse racing as the benchmark in every event, and striving to create a high-quality race. During the competition, the race track is completely closed and a one hour closing time is set. Traffic is closed to the public within a time limit to ensure the safety of runners of all sizes; The timing chip has full coverage, accurately recording the completion time of the runners; The race track is equipped with drinking and water stations throughout, serving every small runner with the most humane standards. Runners who complete the race within the closing time can receive two "inlaid" completion medals and certificates.
