On that day, in the collective 5-round final of the 2023 World Artistic Gymnastics Championships held in Valencia, Spain, the Chinese team consisting of Guo Qiqi, Hao Ting, Wang Lanjing, Pu Yanzhu, and Ding Xinyi won the gold medal in the 5-round event with a score of 36.550, marking the first time the Chinese artistic gymnastics team has won the world championship.

In the end, the Chinese artistic gymnastics team won 1 gold and 2 silver at this year's World Championships.
After winning the championship, national team coach Sun Dan once posted a message on his social media: "After several generations of unremitting efforts and accumulation of artistic gymnasts, we finally have our own world championship. With our hard work and dedication beyond our work scope, we have achieved today's Chinese artistic gymnastics team!"

Guo Qiqi recalled that before departure, the coach gave the entire team a six word "trick": calm, clear, and brave. So after the collective all-around final, everyone quickly entered the state, continued to train seriously, and prepared for the subsequent matches, which was the "golden breakthrough" of the collective single event.

Sun Dan said, "Now we are looking for music with a suitable style, and next year we plan to lean towards a combination of Chinese style and international style works."
