On June 11th, 2023, the launching ceremony of the Shanghai Community Health Games and the "Heqing Cup" Shanghai Community Archery Competition were held at the Heqing Dragon Fruit Manor.
In May, the Shanghai Archery World Cup was just held in Pudong New Area, which greatly stimulated the enthusiasm of citizens to participate in archery sports. The "Heqing Cup" Shanghai Community Archery Competition features four events: reverse bow, composite bow, light bow, and traditional bow, attracting citizens from 16 districts in the city to participate.

The Heqing Community Sports Games on that day also featured fitness yangko, fitness qigong, square dance display projects, as well as frisbee and dry land curling experience projects, attracting about 600 citizens from the city to participate.

On June 10th, 2023, the "Industrial Bank Cup" Shanghai Urban Amateur League China Coordinates · Shanghai Xuhui Urban Directional Outdoor Challenge kicked off at Ganghui Henglong Square. With the themes of "sports+consumption" and "sports+red", athletes shuttle through the history and modernity, sports and trends, scenic spots and commerce of Xuhui.
The competition has three routes within Xuhui District, with the themes of Sports Xuhui, Hi Buy Xuhui, and Red Xuhui, reflecting the diverse sports consumption, thriving commercial district economy, and rich red culture in Xuhui District. 500 competition spots were sold out at the beginning of recruitment.
The Sports Xuhui and Hi Buy Xuhui routes, with the theme of "sports+consumption", have created a safe, effective, and highly experiential interactive platform for athletes and businesses through urban orienteering competitions. The competition links multiple shopping malls such as Huijin Department Store, Ganghui Henglong Plaza, Meiluo City, Dongfang Shopping Mall, Bainaohui, Xingyou City, and Zhengda Lecheng, integrating sports and consumption through interactive check-in experiences. The contestants on the red route are all from the "Two New" organization of the Xujiahui Street Party Working Committee. The route design connects red check-in areas such as Qian Xuesen Library and Zhang Leping's former residence, allowing the contestants to experience the classic red cultural history of Xujiahui in the central urban area firsthand.

The Dragon Boat Festival is coming, and Zongzi balls
On June 11, the 2023 "Industrial Bank Cup" Shanghai Urban Amateur League "Dongming Cup" Shanghai Zongzi Ball Open was held at the North School of Sanlin Middle School in Pudong New Area. 43 participating teams and over 200 athletes from various districts in Shanghai competed, and in the end, the first team from Dongming Road Street in Pudong New Area won the three person team championship. Peng Yixiang from the Shanghai Sports Institute team and Liu Xiaoying from Shanghai Xinhua Media Chain Co., Ltd. team respectively won the honor of first place in men's individual and women's individual.
Zongzi ball sport rose in 1985. In 1992, Zongzi ball sport was listed as "China's mass sports record project" by the State Sports Commission. In 1996, Zongzi ball sport was selected as "China's fitness method" and promoted nationwide. Since 1998, Zongzi ball sport has been listed as one of the series activities of Shanghai Citizens' Fitness Festival.
In 2006, Dongming Road began to introduce Zongzi ball into community school classrooms, which was welcomed by community residents and injected vitality into community schools. Through years of project cultivation, the participation and awareness of Zongzi ball sport among residents in Dongming Community has become higher and higher.
