"Water Sports Industry" Helps Rural Revitalization

Shanghai is a city that grows and thrives on water, with a profound history of water sports. It is the cradle of China's Olympic champions in sailing and windsurfing, and has successfully created numerous high-quality water events. The venue of this competition, Qingpu District, will take the opportunity of the China Yachting Masters, with Meifan Water Sports Club, Jinwu Peninsula Water Base, and other main venues to continuously gather water sports energy, promote local cultural dissemination, and pave the way for rural revitalization through the integration of culture and tourism and the development of sports.

The settlement of this national level windsurfing competition in Jinze, a water town, is an active exploration of high-level events to help promote rural revitalization and development. The aim is to combine "sports+tourism" with rural revitalization, using water sports as the starting point, connecting rural sports and fitness, leisure sports, and sports events, creating a new experience of rural life that integrates service, quality, and leisure, and actively promoting the construction of beautiful countryside. Jinze will utilize its unique natural advantages to create a "one town, one product" water project with water town characteristics. With a "sports+X" development model, it will create a "thousand sails competing, hundred boats competing" water carnival activity, showcasing the beautiful ecological coastline of the Yangtze River Delta demonstration zone, and exploring new paths for rural revitalization and development.
