On the 18th, the Shanghai U5-U17 Football Youth Training Plan Introduction Conference and the "Youth Football Training Course" Release Conference were held at the Oriental Sports Building. Famous Shanghai football stars such as Gu Zhaonian, Xi Zhikang, Ma Liangxing, Fan Zhiyi, Pu Wei, and Yu Weiliang gathered together to discuss the development plan of Shanghai youth football.

It is reported that the Shanghai U5-U17 football youth training plan was designed by Liu Haiguang, integrating the experience of various youth training coaches and well-known experts, drawing on the international youth training teaching model, relying on the requirements of the Chinese Football Association's youth training outline, combined with the psychological characteristics and technical and tactical levels of different age groups, emphasizing the development of youth pyramid technology.
At the same time, the Shanghai U5-U17 football youth training textbook "Youth Football Training Course" was released at the meeting, providing a scientific training plan for children in the first and second grades of primary school who love football. The textbook will be promoted to various primary schools throughout the city that carry out campus football activities, assisting campus physical education teachers and football coaches, aiming to preliminarily solve the problem of inconsistent, non-standard, and uncontrollable grassroots football teaching and lesson plans. It will provide theoretical basis and practical guidance for youth football training in Shanghai.
The Youth Football Training Course will be published by Shanghai Dictionary Publishing House in September this year, with a preface by Rong Zhixing, former vice chairman of the Chinese Football Association. In the preface, Rong Zhixing gave high praise to the series of courses, believing that the course revolves closely around the technical characteristics and characteristics that youth football should have in each stage, with a planned and step-by-step approach. Representatives from the Youth Department of the Municipal Sports Bureau and the Sports, Health and Arts Department of the Municipal Education Commission, Shanghai Dictionary Publishing House, some football characteristic schools in Shanghai, and 16 elite football training bases attended the meeting.
