The contestants focus on controlling the direction of the computer while using data such as speed, distance, and horizon to maintain safe flight. Referee Han Yu introduced that through competitions, players can demonstrate their operational abilities from multiple perspectives, improve their interdisciplinary and multi task coordination abilities. A young contestant expressed that their dream is to "become a pilot, fly fighter jets, and defend our country."

Conducting simulated flight sports is of great significance in promoting the coordinated development of cultural learning and physical exercise among young people, promoting national defense education, pilot recruitment, and training of aviation sports industry practitioners. In January 2022, Shanghai's first science and technology sports simulation flight training base was unveiled at Fengbang Senior High School; In October, Shanghai Wanxiang School and Shanghai Zhuangxing School were listed as "Youth Aviation Schools" by the China Aviation Association. At present, two free courses on simulated flight have been selected as the first batch of comprehensive quality education platforms in Shanghai.
