At the event, 14 district level characteristic industrial parks were awarded licenses and will work together to accelerate the construction of science and technology innovation clusters. The District Investment Promotion Office has jointly signed a tripartite strategic cooperation agreement with the State Intellectual Property Administration and the Municipal Association for the Promotion of Productive Services, which means that Baoshan District's global investment circle will further expand.

The Peninsula 1919 Fashion Technology Industrial Park, located on the north bank of the Wusong River, was formerly known as the Eighth Cotton Factory. The eastern region launched this time is positioned as a "fashion+technology" industrial highland, and will build a multi-functional science and technology innovation comprehensive park with scientific research headquarters, standard office, and living facilities, integrating four major functions: fashion industry venture capital services, textile new material research and development, smart supply chain technology, and fashion consumption new technology.

The park is invested by Shanghai Xinghai Fashion Real Estate Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of Oriental International Co., Ltd., and constructed and operated by Shanghai Wuling Creative Culture and Art Development Co., Ltd. Tong Jisheng, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of Dongfang International Co., Ltd., stated that he will fully leverage the advantages of industry, resources, and platforms to help build a new model of urban construction.

According to the plan, the park will integrate standalone offices, street commercial properties, and talent apartments, achieving a multi-objective integration of industrial resource exploration, public resource optimization, and waterfront space creation.
