After the police discovered the situation through surveillance, they stopped Ms. Li from continuing to make payments and investigated and found that there were a total of 35 people in the "please withdraw group", of whom 34 were entrusted to deceive Ms. Li.
This is no longer the first "red headed file" scam. Recently, the Shanghai debunking platform has also received photos of "red headed files" provided by multiple fans, hoping to verify their authenticity. After investigation, it was found that the relevant "red headed documents" were all forged, with the aim of using "red headed documents" to gain public trust, induce the public to join "refund groups" or fill out "refund links", and then carry out fraud.
Fake "red headed files" with numerous loopholes

All kinds of details show that these "red headed files" are counterfeit.

When the recipient scans the QQ on the file and adds the so-called "customer service", they are either introduced to the "refund group" or asked to fill in personal and account information on the "refund webpage" and "refund link". Among them, the fraudulent tactics of the "refund group" are similar to Ms. Li's experience; The so-called "refund webpage" and "refund link" are phishing websites aimed at defrauding the recipient's money.
It is not difficult to find that these "red headed documents" claiming to be "refunds" are actually traps sent to the door.
Authoritative institutions have issued warnings one after another
In fact, multiple authoritative institutions have reminded the public to be careful of the "red headed document" scam.
