The Treasure Hut that makes Zhao Zhixin a child's heart ache is a children's public welfare project in Xujiahui Street, Xuhui District, relying on the protection station for minors. This project was jointly launched by the Xuhui District Civil Affairs Bureau, Xujiahui Street, Puyin Financial Leasing, Lianquan Public Welfare Foundation, Minghui Children's Development Center, and other parties in August last year. In just one year, 46 educational activities covering multiple areas such as "safety protection, social integration, talent development, interest cultivation, and red education" have been launched online and offline. It has become a "good place for children, good friends for parents, and good helpers for the community", and its coverage has also expanded from the beginning to the beginning. The first activity that Zhao Zhixin, a child, participated in under the leadership of her father was a small experiment on scientific principles. Volunteer Teacher Feng from the Treasure House has launched a series of creative painting classes, with the theme of 3D painting "Dad Reading Newspapers", to explain in detail the key points and methods of painting to children, allowing them to fully enjoy the fun of painting. With the guidance of the teacher and the assistance of volunteers, the children spread their imaginative wings, drew moving patterns one by one, and activated the happy mode with a paintbrush. Teacher Feng also told the children about the past and present of "Zhongshan Seal Script". Listening to the little-known but tumultuous history of ancient Chinese characters, the children were amazed and developed a strong interest in history and culture. While learning and experiencing the traditional charm of calligraphy, they also made their own cultural bookmarks.
Go out and let children broaden their horizons, understand society, and inherit the red spirit. On the eve of July 1st this year, the organizers of the treasure house coordinated the construction of resources and led the children to a unit of the People's Armed Police with a glorious tradition. The predecessor of this unit had participated in the Korean War and played an important role in urban management during the early days of the liberation of Greater Shanghai. Now, this army bears the heavy responsibility of maintaining social order and management on Nanjing Road. In the army, the children visited the honor room that records history and glory, watched documentaries, and listened to the Red Stories told by the Armed Police Uncle. Especially during the visit to the internal affairs of the army, the children were amazed at how the uncles' blankets were stacked neatly like tofu blocks. In another music activity with the theme of "Childlike Heart Towards the Party", at the Nie'er Music Square in Shanghai, children listened to the story of Nie'er and the national anthem, and even sang the "Selling Newspaper Song".
