Starting from August, especially during the traditional peak season of "Golden September and Silver October", SAIC will make every effort to accelerate production and sales, aiming to achieve higher monthly sales targets and strive to outperform the overall market throughout the year.
The sales of new energy vehicles have reached a new high every month. From January to July this year, SAIC New Energy Vehicles sold a total of 463000 vehicles, ranking second among Chinese automakers. In July, SAIC's sales of new energy vehicles reached 91000 units, maintaining a "month on month increase" since January. In the third quarter, it will further push towards the goal of "monthly sales of 100000 units". The overseas market continues to be at the forefront. In July, SAIC's overall sales in its overseas market reached 97000 vehicles, breaking the best record of the year. SAIC's independent brand MG continues to perform well in the European market, with a cumulative sales of 135000 vehicles in the first seven months, a year-on-year increase of 148%. It ranks among the top in new car sales rankings in developed countries such as the UK, Germany, France, Italy, Spain, Sweden, and Ireland. The MG4 electric vehicle, the first global car for Chinese people, sold over 30000 units in Europe in the first half of the year, ranking sixth on the European pure electric vehicle sales chart and becoming the best-selling Chinese electric vehicle in Europe.
